Instructions for anchoring the wind turbine at the final installation point |
You can install the wind turbine either on the ground or on a flat roof. In any case, if you install the wind turbine on the ground,
you should create a base with reinforced concrete. If the construction of the concrete base is extremely expensive, then you can ask our company for special "soil screws".
These screws have a thread and length depending on the composition of the soil in which they will be used. At the top they have a flange to which you can attach the base of the wind turbine.
The next photo shows the "soil screws".

In any case you should consult an engineer in your area and follow the relevant laws of your country. You should provide the engineer with the following technical information:
The wind turbine comes into contact with the surface, on which it will be anchored, with four metal flanges with a total surface area of 1,600 cm2. Each flange has four holes with a diameter of 16 mm, so that bolts of the corresponding diameter can be used for fastening. The next picture shows the dimensions of the flange. |
The
next picture shows in plan, the distances between the four flanges or
the four pillars of the wind turbine.

The
reinforced concrete base should have a minimum diameter of: 2.4 m
The reinforced concrete base has an ideal diameter: 5.6 m The large diameter of the concrete base serves a lot during the assembly process of the wind turbine. When assembling the wind turbine, it is possible that building scaffolding will have to be used around the wind turbine. During the construction of the reinforced concrete base, the installation of the corresponding equipment for the lightning rod must be done and the grounding must be installed. The surface on which the wind turbine will be installed must be horizontal. The weight of the wind turbine is 1,394 Kg. Maximum snow load: 2 KN/m2 Maximum wind load: 18,3 N. Safety factor: 5 |
