The "Iasos" wind turbine can be used in many different ways and for many different purposes. For each of these uses, additional equipment of relatively little value may be required.
The following uses are indicative:
Scenario 1.
Use the wind turbine to cover as much of your electricity needs as possible. If the amounts of electricity produced by the wind turbine are not sufficient for your needs, cover the difference by purchasing electricity from your country's electricity grid. If the produced amounts of electricity exceed your needs, sell the excess electricity to any buyer.
Scenario 2.
Use the wind turbine to cover as much of your electricity needs as possible. If the amounts of electricity produced by the wind turbine are not sufficient for your needs, then automatically cover the difference by purchasing electricity from your country's electricity grid. But unlike the previous scenario (Scenario 1), in this scenario you will not be able to sell any amount of electricity to a buyer.
Scenario 3.
Use the wind turbine on a stand-alone private power grid, completely independent of your country's power grid. In this scenario, you will neither be able to buy nor sell electricity. We recommend, in this scenario, to use batteries with the highest capacity possible.
Scenario 4.
Use the wind turbine to sell the entire amount of electricity produced, to any buyer, while at the same time and independently buying from your country's electricity grid the electricity you need for your consumption.
Scenario 5.
Use the wind turbine to sell the entire amount of electricity produced, to any buyer. In other words become an electricity producer.
